In this article, we will learn how we will insert semi-circle in PowerPoint. It's interesting to insert a semi-circle in PowerPoint.
For example, we are working with our PowerPoint presentation then we have to insert a semi-circle that is why we are going to learn how we will insert a semi-circle in PowerPoint.
Now Let's Get Started:
In the first step, we have to open Microsoft PowerPoint after that we will proceed further.
After opening powerpoint we can see that there are file menu on the top and ribbon after the file menu and in the ribbon, we can see the "Drawing" then in the drawing we can see different types of shapes then if we open them then we will see more shapes that PowerPoint contains in its drawing.
When we open the shaped pan then we will see more shapes will be available in Microsoft PowerPoint.
When we expand it then we can see that there is a lot of shape including circle but there is no semi-circle in the above screenshot.
Now, we are going to insert the circle from the shapes then we will do some processes with the circle then the circle will be converted into a semi-circle in PowerPoint.
Just select the circle then click and drag. If you will simply click and drag after selecting the circle then an ellipse will be inserted in powerpoint.
If you want to insert the circle then press the shift key then click and drag then the circle will be inserted in PowerPoint.
(Note: If we will not hold the shift key then the ellipse will be inserted in PowerPoint. Note this point that for circle we have to press and hold the shift key then click and drag it.)
As we can see that circle is inserted in PowerPoint. Further, we have to select the circle and then right-click on it then we will see a few options related to the edits and further edits.
Also, we can see there is an option for "Edit Points" then with the help of this option we can edit its point and change the shape of the circle or any other shape.
After clicking on the "Edit Points" then the following dialogue box will appear on our screen as we can see in the following screenshot.
As, we can see that there are four points on the top, bottom, right, and left. Now we can right-click on any point we will see a new dialogue box will appear related to the edit point in powerpoint.
We have to click on the "Open Path" then our path will be open as for now our path is close because our path is a close path (circle).
As I am going with the top edit point so now you can see that our path is open right now. I am going to click on the bottom is mentioned on the top side as we can see. We will click on the bottom point then a few options will appear then we will delete the edit point as we can see in the following screenshot.
Then we will click on the left-hand side then click it then push the delete button the next point will be deleted as we can see in the following screenshot.
As we can see now there is a semi-circle is left behind. In this way, we can turn our circle into a semi-circle.
