How To add and Delete Slides in PowerPoint?

In this article, we will discuss adding and deleting slides in PowerPoint. As we know that we mostly discuss tips & tricks of PowerPoint on this blog. We will go through a simple and meaningful way so that everyone can understand what he/she is looking for.

In the first step, we will open. There are two different ways to open PowerPoint. The first one is from the start menu. Just type PowerPoint then PowerPoint icon will appear in the list then we will click on it then the interface will be open and in the second one if we have a shortcut is available on the desktop then simply click on it then the interface of PowerPoint will be open as we can see below.

Here are many ways to go. We can start with a Blank Presentation of PowerPoint or We can select any predefined template of PowerPoint.

There are some ways to go with opening of PowerPoint

1. Blank Presentation
2. New Presentation
3. Open any Existence Presentation
   

 If we click on the More theme then a lot of theme will be open as with the suggestion searches.

In this case, we are going with the Blank Presentation of PowerPoint so that we can understand it more later we will discuss the theme and theme color scheme in PowerPoint.

Now, In the second step, we will add new slides with the help of the home tab then "Slides".

When we will click on "New Slides" the pop-down menu will be open.

Here are many options for new slides like Title Slides, Title and Content Slides, Section Header, Two Content, Comparison, Title Only, and Blank as we can go with many options.

As we can see that our current slide is blank after clicking on "Title Slide" then our new "Title Slide" will appear.

Now, we can see that a new slide is added by the name of  "Title Slide" and we insert a new slide we can see this one is the second slide.

 In this way, we can add new slides according to our desire.

Examples of Slides. 

If we want to delete any slide then we can just click the slide then press the delete button then our slides from our presentation will be deleted.
